Main advantages of Transmissions Lines:

Transmission Line speakers tend to exhibit a very high-fidelity low-frequency response, extending far below that of typical speakers. Acoustically, TL speakers roll off more slowly (less steeply) at low frequencies and provide better driver control than standard reflex cabinet designs. They are also less sensitive to positioning, and tend to produce a very spacious soundstage.

The TL topology matches reflex cabinet designs in many respects, but with an extra octave of bass, lower LF distortion, more precise LF reproduction, and a frequency balance that is more independent of listening level.
The internal partitioning provides substantial bracing for the entire structure, reducing cabinet vibrations and coloration. The inside faces of the labyrinth are treated with an absorbent material to provide the correct termination at a certain frequency to load the drive unit as a TL and reinforce the lower part of the frequency band.
Since there is no real pressure build-up behind the woofer cone, the reproduction of the TL is very natural. The rear-radiant air is forced through the internal labyrinth, so the cone’s internal sound waves are mostly not radiated back through the mid-woofer membrane outwards.
Furthermore, the air in the transmission line can load the bass driver and lower its resonant frequency. This allows for extended low-end response and keeps the bass driver well-damped, requiring less excursion than sealed or ported speakers to produce the same output.

WE TAKE ATTENTION TO DETAILS

High quality crossover of the Audiophile transmission Line Loudspeaker UNI TL

The components used in the crossover have been carefully chosen to achieve the desired results. They are all of high quality and consist of selected matched pairs. This helps us achieve accurate and pleasing music reproduction. Additionally, the components are decoupled from the board, and the board is decoupled from the cabinet to minimize the propagation of vibrations. Moreover, we mostly use point-to-point Crossover connection topology to minimize signal losses.
